After getting home late, we get right out the door and over to Venice beach. The coolest bar in Los Angeles is bumpin' with folks who still want to carry on the New Years party. Football on the TV screens and food and beer, we start ripping into the tunes. Good to see Barbara from Bakersfield, Carolyn from Torrence, Racer Rick Smith, Willie from Argentina and the crew at the bar runs a smooth afternoon. Venice is very cool town with an artist vibe.Everyone who joined in singing on the chorus to Hank 's "Family Tradition" I thank you!

Rockin' night! Great weather and people are out for fun. Kip is throwing a party at the club. Good to see Carl and Leslie from Glasshouse presents. The oldest building in Carpinteria is the site of the first hotel in this area. The owners have continued the tradition of independent California inside with a cook your own steak grill. This is an Historic California general store, 12 miles into the mountains above Santa Barbara. With a huge patio that over looks the Pacfic ocean and the surrounding valley.

SATURDAY JUNE 11 THE IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY FOR THE JOY RIDE CONCERT
This was a fun afternoon with lots of bikes. Thank you to my Buds promoter Steve Broock and Guest vocals from Linda Vanier. Everyone at the Joy Ride production team were first rate, Christina Bergstrom promotions and the Vernon sound and stage company were excellent. I met with the famous "California Boss Hoss" motorcyle builder Jim Stoddard. Puts a Chevy V8 on a bike frame, easity does 160 miles an hour. Great day at Irwindale races! Thank You to SuperGlide Gail from Thunder Press Magazine for writing about the Steve Broock Blues Bash! I enjoyed meeting and talking about her feature stories in Thunder Press!

The band played outside on the broadwalk in the afternoon facing the Pacfic Ocean on a beautiful day, enjoyed meeting with people. Moved inside to the Mr. Ricks stage for more music and fun. Wow! What a weekend of fun, record crowds and amazing weather for this years festival on the Central Cali Coast! I really like playing here and meeting so many good folks. We had a great stage, excellent sound and ripped through tunes from the records and played some blues. Thankl you to everyone for buying the CD's and Mike and Frank at both Boo Boo record stores! FRI. and SAT. May 6 & 7 The band played shows at the Fuel Dock in Morro Bay. The weather was amazing and the club has a terrific crowd of good people. We opened with a two hour set and the dance floor was jammin. Thank you to Bill and Casey for making it happed!

Sunday May 8th we were in Avila Beach at a very cool bar called Mr. Ricks. Right on the Pacfic ocean beach, WOW, what a lot of fun. Hanging with friends. Good to see Guy and Nicki.
A big thank you to everyone for buying the CD. Nice to meet a lot of great people and have fun!
