Brad Wilson, who's musical credits speak volumes, has released his solo CD of great blues rock. For those of you who do not know Brad Wilson, allow me to give you a few examples of his work. Brad's work can be found on the John Carpenter films 'Vampires' and 'Ghosts Of Mars' soundtracks and the NBC soap opera, 'Passions' (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003). Brad has opened for many well known musical artists and is a winner of the 2003 'Best Songwriting' award at the All Access Music Awards in LA and has been nominated for 'Best Blues Band' by another LA based rock magazine, Rock City News, which Brad has been a winner of three times already. There are many other credits to be mentioned, but let's get down to the 'nitty gritty'...

Brad's solo release can only be described as true blues-type rock. This CD offers the listener a variety of rock/blues tunes that keep the feet tapping and the mind wandering with Brad's amazing songwriting. With killer guitar licks and cool rhythms, this is the type of CD that you pop in the player when you drop the top on the convertible and go for a long drive or kickin' back next to a big fire at sunset. The music is free and energizing. This what I felt when I first heard this CD. Brad's vocals are just as amazing, but you will need to hear that for yourself. With most artists' releases, there are a few songs that stand out that get mentioned in reviews, but for me, I enjoyed every song on this CD. This is one CD that will get played often and I'll enjoy introducing it to others.

You can hear some of Brad's tunes on his website at www.bradwilsonlive.com or get your own copy through Brad's website or at www.cdbaby.com. Regardless of where you get it, you'll be proud to add this great collection of tunes to your CD collection.
Brad's musical ride does not stop there. For the past seven years, Brad has fronted the band, STONE, with members JJ Garcia and Brian James. You can check out STONE at www.stonelive.com. Stone is yet another amazing band, but I will reserve my comments for now and will post a review in the near future. For now, check out Brad and I hope you enjoy his music as much as I have. Brad, thank you for the music and thanks for keeping great rock music alive... keep it coming...there can never be enough Brad Wilson tunes out there!
